Changelog for Cisco Support Assistant Extension

Limited Availability (LA) Announcement

The Cisco Support Assistant Extension has entered Limited Availability (LA) with the release of version 1.1.0. This phase is a crucial part of our product lifecycle, allowing us to gather targeted feedback from a select group of users. During this period, we aim to refine functionality, improve user experience, and ensure the stability of the extension before it becomes widely available. We encourage participants in the Limited Availability phase to actively provide feedback and report any issues they encounter. This feedback is invaluable as it helps us to make necessary adjustments and enhancements to deliver a robust and effective product for all users upon full release.

New Features in this release:

Enhanced Product Detection

Improved accuracy in identifying supported Cisco products. The extension now supports additional Cisco products, including Cisco Secure Firewall and 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers.

Automated Troubleshooting Uploads

Users can now automatically upload troubleshooting logs and diagnostics directly from the Firewall Management Center (FMC) to their TAC Support Request (SR).

Smart Tooltips within Product Portals

Dynamic tooltips have been added across various interfaces to provide contextual help, links, and video tutorials, enhancing user guidance without leaving the current workflow.
